Join the Block Island Maritime Institute at the Highview Inn on Saturday, February 9, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. for a special fundraising dinner and silent auction followed by musical entertainment at Club Soda. The dinner will feature Block Island Beauty Oysters and dishes prepared by local chefs. Proceeds will help fund a sailing trip for BI School students and Feinstein School students from Providence. Suggested donations, payable at the door, are $20 for adults, $10 for children for the buffet dinner and a $5 cover for the music.
